Concealed Fire

These ideal forms of Consciousness
  haunt my daytime dreams,
when I can see their shifting shape
  by movements they awake.

In sleep the image runs so wild,
  but in waking our feelings
dream, comprehending all as a child:
  And I, blind, follow not.

The wandering of the mind it seems
  is only lost when I
am lost, and only found when I
  am found, guided by some
Concealed fire, to illumine the sea
  of my sight and unseeing.
